Our NEW Co-Headteachers

Dsc02756

Dear Parents and Carers,

It gives us great pleasure to introduce ourselves as the new Co-Headteachers of Chichester High School. We feel extremely honoured and privileged to continue to develop our school onto the next stage of its journey. As members of the Senior Leadership Team at Chichester High School we are in the unique position of knowing and having established relationships with our students, parents and carers, staff and local community.

We are both parents and, as parents, our shared values have always been to ensure our own children flourish in life and achieve their potential. This is the philosophy we will bring to our role as Headteachers.

Our goal is to ensure all children who attend Chichester High School are happy and provided with all the necessary opportunities to be the best they can be both socially and academically. Our vision at Chichester High School is to enable students to flourish in all areas of their lives, by supporting their development into well-rounded, compassionate people. We aim to encourage our students to enjoy contributing and participating in their local community and the wider world, whilst respecting and supporting those who live in it.

We strongly believe in providing our children with exciting, creative and meaningful learning experiences which embrace their individuality, enthusiasm for learning and help them to grow and thrive.  We are keen on building a whole school community by involving our children and their families as partners in their education. Mutual respect, fostering positive relationships and working together will ensure school is a positive and rewarding experience for all.

Having entrusted your child’s education to us, we feel that it is important that you have a voice and that as a school we are approachable and allocate time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts about our school. To facilitate this, over the coming weeks we will be sending out a survey to gather your feedback. In addition, we will be opening our doors and inviting parents in for an informal coffee morning to meet with ourselves, other parents/carers, and other members of staff face to face on Wednesday 10th July between 9am and 11.30am.

We are committed to the success of the school and will work relentlessly to ensure that all of our students receive the outstanding education they deserve in a safe and caring community that always puts them first. We are also committed to open and clear communication with our parents and carers, please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to do so.

We are determined that your child will thrive under our leadership and we are really grateful for all your kind comments and messages of support.

Mrs Naomi Lewry and Dr Nicholas Taylor
